We had the pleasure of chatting with Sarah Suchoff, the mastermind behind the Instagram account @srslydelicious. As a Nutritious Life Certified coach, she spends her days cooking for clients and recipe testing for her profile.
Q: How do you GEM?
Whether I’m popping it in my mouth while running out the door or savoring the peppermint flavor while getting dressed, GEM is a staple in my morning routine. In fact, I look forward to having it every day. Not only am I getting my daily dose of vitamins & minerals, but I also feel like I’m eating a breath mint at the same time! I always eat my GEM in one bite allowing the whole foods to dissolve in my mouth. Are you a one bite or 2 bites kinda GEMer?
Q: What gives you energy?
It’s been invigorating to go after my passion in the health and wellness space by starting my Instagram account, @srslydelicious, becoming Nutritious Life Certified and cooking for clients. It’s funny how the world of Instagram has connected me to so many wonderful people, brands and exciting opportunities. There’s absolutely nothing better than doing what you love and going after your dreams.
Q: How do you relieve stress?
This is something I’m trying to work on, as I get stressed easily! For me, there’s nothing like a good sweat or yoga class to help me de-stress. Lately, I’ve been loving barre and yoga classes. Also, therapy! I started going a few months ago and have seen a huge difference in the way I handle my anxiety.
Q: What beauty product can you not live without?
When it comes to makeup or my skincare routine, I keep it simple. I can’t live without my Elta MD tinted moisturizer with SPF. I put it on my face every morning (rain or shine) before leaving the house. I love how lightweight it is and it gives me a natural glow while protecting my skin at the same time.
Q: How do you stimulate your mind outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my friends by going to workout classes, going out to dinner or even cooking together. I also love to go to health and wellness related events. I find it’s a great way to learn and meet new people.
Q: What is one thing about cooking or nutrition that you want people to know about?
Cooking individual meals every day is extremely time consuming and ordering take-out can break the bank. That’s why meal prep is my best friend and it should be yours too. Many people are intimidated by the kitchen yet cooking doesn’t have to be a daunting experience. In just 2 hours (or less!) you can make a dozen hard boiled eggs, a pot of grains, a pan of roasted veggies and your choice of protein for the entire week. Too much? Start by pre-chopping your veggies. If you buy celery, carrots and cucumbers, don’t leave them un-chopped in the fridge. When you go reach for a snack, you most likely won’t have the energy to chop them. Giving yourself 20 minutes of chop time can go a long way! Need more tips? Reach out on Instagram. I have plenty!
